From the factory the Kia Carens with the 2.0 CRDi 136hp engine (2002 - 2011) delivers 136 HP and 305 Nm on diesel. With a Tune Maps remap the calibration is optimised to 170 HP and 370 Nm – that is 25% more power and 21% more torque, while staying within safe limits for engine and drivetrain. The engine is controlled by a Bosch EDC16C39 ECU.
