From the factory the Saab 45172 with the 1.9 TTiD 180hp engine (2007 - 2010) delivers 180 HP and 400 Nm on diesel. With a Tune Maps remap the calibration is optimised to 220 HP and 480 Nm – that is 22% more power and 20% more torque, while staying within safe limits for engine and drivetrain. The engine is controlled by a Bosch EDC16C39 ECU.
